The Flagstaff Wedding Expo came to fruition in 2023. It was originally created by two best friends Laura and Rachel who had a wedding rental business and had the idea to get an expo started again for the Flagstaff area. Instagram and social media has a time and a place in the wedding planning experience; but they felt the need for couples to have an in person event to plan their special day. Face to face experiences can still really help couples when finding who is the perfect personality for a couple's occasion. As well as, vendors should have a place to network and get to know other vendors in the wedding industry. Thus, the Flagstaff Wedding Expo was started and has been growing and changing every year since.

This event has been a massive success and has been a great resource to couples getting married in the area. The Flagstaff Wedding expo has become quite the bridal affaire, and couples and vendors alike look forward to the event. The expo is now just run by Rachel and volunteers. This is not a large scale event company, it is simply ran by a local who saw a need for something and decided to take a chance on it. It has truly been a rewarding experience for me to run the wedding expo. I have absolutely loved meeting and establishing relationships with vendors and being a part of the planning process with couples. Every year I learn and change the event, based upon your feedback. Whether that's changing the venue, the layout or processes, I have loved every part of making the event special and helpful.
